Biratnagar Resale helps buyers and sellers connect, but every transaction still requires personal care. Please use these rules whenever you meet, inspect, pay, or deliver an item.
Before you contact a seller
- Read the full listing carefully and ask questions about condition, ownership, and any defects.
- Compare prices with similar items so you can spot unrealistic deals.
- Be careful with urgent pressure, advance-payment requests, or stories that do not add up.
Meeting safely
- Meet in a public place during daytime whenever possible.
- Tell a friend or family member where you are going and who you are meeting.
- For high-value items, take someone with you.
- Do not invite strangers to a private location unless absolutely necessary.
Checking the product
- Test electronics, inspect accessories, and confirm serial numbers when relevant.
- For vehicles, ask for ownership and registration documents before paying.
- For student marketplace items, check completeness, working condition, and actual usefulness before buying.
- Do not rely only on photos. Inspect the real item before final payment.
Payments
- Avoid sending advance money unless you fully trust the other person.
- Prefer payment only after inspection and agreement.
- Keep proof of payment and screenshots of your chat if the item is expensive.
